Mission Statement
Our mission is to use our conference to bring together cancer patients, their family members, carers and medical
and health care professionals. We encourage all those affected by cancer, to share their experience,
knowledge and strength with each other in a safe, relaxed and positive environment and to help each individual
improve the quality of their personal cancer journey.
We aim to bring together the people who run Cancer Support and Self Help Groups to help them to extend and
improve their skills and services.

Conference 2009
The planning of the conference for 2009 is almost complete. Our bookings are numbers are now approaching 230
with more in the pipe line and so we have put a cap of 300 on the total number of delegates we will accept.
Prof. Karol Sikora, Prof. Mike Richards,
Ciarán Devane, Dr. David Reilly, Prof. Nicky Robinson, Tom Brown, Ian Lynch etc. have all accepted our invitation to speak and as we get
other firm details we will put them on the web site.

Most workshops are now in and you can download a workshop booking form and also
a list of all workshops offered for 2009.
Travel Insurance Petition
In order to draw attention to the high cost of travel insurance for
cancer patients we have started a petition on the 10 Downing Street site. We now have over 400 signatures and would like as many
people as possible to sign up. Click here to sign.
Conference 2008
The feedback from the delegates at our 2008 conference indicates that they found the
conference to be a very worth while way to spend a weekend.
